Kitchen Aid Mixer
Mixer was down for the count. Lower bearing worn, may have been from a previous failure of the worm gear. All parts were cleaned, but debris from the broken tooth may have worked it’s way into the bearing at that time and continued to wear the lower bearing. Part received very quickly and the mixer was up and running in hours and making bread again with ease.

mixer does not mix 4 cups of flour with 6 eggs very easily
sat on the kitchen table and with a screwdriver started to disasemble the mixer, hardest part was taking snap ring off (easy after you buy snap ring pliers)as gears were lifted off noticeable wearing was present on all parts. the bearing housing on the gearcase was broken lose, the only major expense. the other parts are not expensive so i decided to renew all parts. glad i did felt proud of myself when job was done. would do it again Joe

Planetary Pinion Gear Assembly had dropped down
The repair was easy, I only had to order new gear assembly parts and to replace the associated worn parts (shaft, pin, and gears).
