Vibration during spin dry cycle
Moved unit forward to gain access and then removed rear panel with Phillips screwdriver.
At this point it was very important to protect arms and hands due to sharp edges within the unit!
Be advised, the bolts may be a little tight...hence the protection mentioned above. The socket tends to "pop off" due to the awkward angles involved. The washer basket has some nasty little extrusions which can cause blood blisters if you bounce off the basket!
Using 1/2" socket (and small extension) removed mounting bolts and extracted the dampers.
Install new dampers, using thread lock on the bolts.
Re-install the back cover with the Phillips screwdriver and push the unit back in place.

I was moving and my back shock damper/absorber came loose. How do i connect the back
For model number MAH8700AWW
Hi Mel,
Thank you for your question. With this particular shock absorber, there is a little head on each end. You slide that into the slot where it is held. Then turn it 90 degrees to lock the part into place. You do the same thing on the drum side as well. Good luck with your repair.
