Easy repair - part worked as expected
While replacing the rubber boot on my washing machine according to the instructions found here, I dropped the control panel and tore control board's electric cable off the printed circuit board. I ordered this replacement and easily installed it. I unsnapped the old control board and snapped the new one in its place. I routed the cable through the hole in the front panel and plugged the connector in the control panel in the same receptacle as where the old one was connected. The shaft for the selector knob is a bit longer than the original one so the selector knob on the front of the control panel is sticking out a bit. Other than that there were no other issues.

The rubberized button to operate the power broke threw so I couldn't power the machine on.
I first had to remove the front panel by removing the detergent drawer, then removing torx screw in front panel and screws around the edge of front panel. and then by gently pushing a thin blade through right side of panel to release tab and pulling out panel to insert pry bar through opening to release tabs along top of panel. Remove knob from front and remove panel. Remove top of dryer by removing attaching screws. There are release tabs on top and bottom of Electronic Control Board (look at new one to orient yourself), release the tabs and pull the board out of the dryer. Follow the wire harness through the dryer to where it plugs into the connector, carefully unplug it. remove the old board, reroute the new harness through the hole in the brace and plug it into the connector, snap the board back into place and reassemble the dryer in the reverse order as the disassembly.

Hi David,
Thank you for your inquiry. If the washer is no coming on, then There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door lock latch, the temperature sensor, the drain pump, the door strike, the central electronic control, the electronic control board and the dispenser actuator switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
