Product Description
Convertible Tine Pivot Specifications
This is the replacement convertible tine pivot for your dishwasher. It is made of gray plastic and is approximately 4 inches long and 1 inch wide. The convertible tine pivot allows the tine row to either stand up or lay flat, depending on what you want to store in the dish rack. If the tine pivot is broken, the tines will not stand up properly, and it will need to be replaced. To replace the tine pivot, simply unclip it from the tine row and dish rack and clip the new one into place. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and it is sold individually.

Upper Dish / Glass Tine
Upper dish rack with dish / glass fold away tine has two broken latches, this situation is causing instability. Went to partselect for schematic and found what looked like the necessary replacement latch/s on print and ordered all latches. Received parts only to find they were the wrong ones. Evidently they are the parts for the bottom dish / glass fold away tine. Removed upper tine and still looking for the actual replacement parts on the schematic with no luck.

Broken rack holders and Door Handle
The adjustable racks were no longer staying place, Replaced 2 items, now the rack stays in place, 5 minutes, with no tools required. Maytag did not do a very good job designing the racks
For the door Handle this is the second time I replaced the handle. 6-8 screws using a drill had the handle exposed in no time. Removing the wiring from the switches is the toughest as the connectors grip the switch very well, a good pull is all that is needed.
Was done with minimal effort and time. Make sure to turn off the power first as it is easy to touch the contacts on the switches when removing the handle
